Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam is spicy-food fan. Out of ASEAN, East Asia, India, some central east Asia, and some Africa is spicy lover. Thanks to Portuguese! Actually somewhere in the part of the Philippines loves spicy foods, my cousins from my mother's side loves spicy food. I told my mom about it and she said that my cousins' mother is from Leyte who also loves spicy food. Maybe people from Leyte loves spicy food.
